Matthew Lee Motorcycle accident on way to Sturgis
Donation protected

Hi, My name is Brian Lee, uncle and Godfather to Matthew Lee. On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Matthew and his wife Catherine Lee were heading to Sturgis, South Dakota for their annual Motorcycle Rally. Upon entering the highway, the trailer Matthew was towing started swaying and pulled Matthew's bike down. Catherine was following him and called 911 where he was airlifted to UW Madison hospital.
Matthew has undergone numerous surgeries since his admission to the hospital. Matthew's recovery will be long but he is a fighting Irishman and stubborn enough to recover fast.
Matthew will be unable to work for quite some time. With no disability insurance, they need funding to help them with medical costs since Matthew will be unable to work during his recovery.
Matthew has been an avid motorcycle rider for many years. He has been an advocate for wearing a helmet and proper riding gear. His helmet and his riding leathers saved his life in this single-vehicle accident. The ending of this story would be different without him wearing his helmet.
Matthew is a veteran. Willing to help anyone, anytime. As most of you know, Matthew's father passed away in 2017 after a battle with cancer. Matthew is the oldest son and stepped up and took his father into his and his wife's home when he was dying. Now is the time for us to help Matthew.
Please give generously. Any amount is appreciated. All funds will go directly to Matthew and Catherine Lee to help with medical expenses.
God bless you and thank you for any support during this difficult time in Matt and Cathy's life.

To Matt and Cathy, I love you both and I am praying for a speedy recovery.
Love your Godfather/Uncle,
Brian
