Matthew Lear's Recovery

Hello, My name is Dale Steil and I am trying to raise funds for our friend Matthew Lear. Matt suffered a stroke this week and has left him in a uncertain medical state. Doctors are calling it "locked in syndrome" and has left him with only the use of his eyes at the moment. He is currently in the hospital in Prince George, with hope to be moved closer to back home. Matt's loving Wife and family from Newfoundland are currently by his side. Any financial aid to assist him and his family through this uphill battle will be very greatly appreciated. Matt has a long uphill journey ahead of him, but if there is one person I would trust going uphill it would be Matt on a sled! He is an amazing father, husband, son, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend to so many!
