Matthew Harrington Funeral Expenses

It is with great sadness that we confirm the news of Matthew Harrington's unexpected passing on Friday August 20th, 2021. We all knew and loved him as a kind and pure soul, as carefree and beautiful as the Virgin Islands that he called home. His massive energy and his enthusiasm for adventure, and business, and fun, and everything in between will be sadly missed. It will be hard to re-imagine the world without Matt, to admit that he's not out there somewhere. The coolest kid, he was the one that made it OK to set the bar high, and to just go-for-it. His passing was a massive curveball for us all, at a time when the world is certainly strange enough.

It's time for us to bring him home to Newton.

Please help us honor and remember Matthew properly, as the free-spirited, soul searching, artist, brother, and friend to us all. We are asking for donations to help defray the costs that will be associated with the complicated logistics of his funeral. It is with deep gratitude and humility that we reach out to you for your support. These donations will help pay for his funeral and any remaining funds will be donated to the Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
