Matt Fretwell passed away in St. George, Utah on Friday, March 19th, 2021 after a short illness. He loved cooking, the desert, and all things outdoors from hiking to camping, off-road racing, jeeping, and hunting. He cared deeply for others and was always willing to offer a helping hand. Matt worked for the Nevada Division of State Parks as a Water Systems Operator for the Eastern Region. He will be remembered by his parents, Chuck and Cheryl; his sister Liz, his brother-in-law Tia, and their son Kwado; his fiancé Laura; and all those he impacted during his too short time here.    

In honor of his commitment to helping others, we are soliciting donations on his behalf for the Pioche Volunteer Fire Department in Pioche, NV where Matt was a volunteer firefighter for a number of years. His sister, Liz, will administer his memorial fund.
