Hi everyone,

My name is Matthew Cruz, I’m a passionate 16 year old Jazz Musician from Houston, Texas. I play Tenor Saxophone and currently attend Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. 

I’m excited to share that I’ve been given the opportunity to attend Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Summer Jazz Academy in New York City that will take my musical journey to the next level. This camp will not only help me grow as a musician, but also allow me to connect with others who share my passion and learn from inspiring instructors in a focused and creative environment.

I’m excited to announce I was given a full tuition scholarship with a $1,000 stipend towards room and board. I need to raise $2,245 to cover the remaining cost of room and board, transportation, and airfare. I’m reaching out to ask for your support, whether it’s through a donation or sharing this message.
