The 89th Airlift Squadron at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio lost a legend yesterday morning, Maj. Matthew C. Kettler. "Kett" was loved by us all and was the epitome of a loyal and selfless crew dog. Matt leaves behind his wife Melissa, his two beautiful young daughters, and his Lab pup Rugger. Matt, myself, and many others recently returned from a squadron deployment to the Middle East. Matt was a close friend to myself and many others and his death has been overwhelming and devastating to his entire family and our unit as a whole.

Many of you know Matt from his Air Force career flying C-21s, MC-12Ws, and C-17s. We are attempting to raise money to support his wife and their two daughters during these difficult times. Any financial support is greatly appreciated. Funds raised will go directly to Melissa, Peyton, and Adeline for their futures.
