Matthew Burkey’s Cancer Treatment

Hi, my name is Bobby. Matthew (47) is married to my sister Leslie Burkey. They have been married for 14 years, and in that time frame, they have had two beautiful daughters Emily who is 13, and Ryley is 10. A couple of days before Christmas, December 23rd, 2022, Matthew went in for a colonoscopy only to find out he had a 6cm mass. The doctors thought they caught it early. Unfortunately, Matthew was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer on January 4th, 2023. He had his port placed a few days later and will start chemotherapy in the coming weeks. The money raised will go toward his cancer treatment, future medical bills, hospital stays, travel and lodging, and any other expenses related to his treatment. As a family, we appreciate any help.
