Matthew Bahre Memorial Foundation

Matthew Bahre, 33 years old, son, husband, father and friend to many  unexpectedly passed away on Saturday. Matt served in combat in the United States Marine Corp. He was a natural leader and loved serving his country. He spent the last 3 years working for the Colorado Department of Corrections where he developed strong bonds with his co-workers who remember him for his tenacious work ethic and care for his team.  He was funny, strong and cared more for other people than he did for himself. Matt was also attending EMT school in hopes of one day becoming a firefighter. He is survived by his family, including his wife Lyndsie Bahre and his children, Owen and Bailee whom he loved more than anything.
Our hope is to help his wife Lyndsie cover funeral expenses and a college fund for his children. He will be missed by so many.
