Matthew and Julie

Matthew's mother passed away peacefully in her sleep last week.  Matthew and Julie were taking care of her, making sure she had groceries and all the things she needed as she has been sick for the past 5 years.  If times were different we'd be supporting their family with flowers, warm meals, and helping to clean out and go through her things.  We would be watching foster so they have time to work on all the "business" that goes along with having a love one die.  But, unfortunately due to COVID-19 we are unable to do those things.  The one thing we can do is help support them financially through this time.  Matthew's mother did not have any funds to help cover expenses so the burden falls completely on them.  Matthew is a youth minister and Julie works at a non-profit organization.  They both spend countless hours outside of their "paying jobs" to help support our neighborhood.  They are wonderful parents, friends, and neighbors.  If anyone is deserving of a little relief during an already difficult time it is these two shining examples of humanity.  Please consider donating and offering some kind words to show Matthew and Julie that this community cares for them and is here to lift them up during their time of need.
