I am creating this against their wishes, but needing a way to help. In June, Laila noticed some marks and some bruising starting on Dax's arm, neck, and side. She had the school watch videos, but nothing was found.

Fast forward to July 23rd, a day that shook Laila, Dakota, and all of Dax's family. Someone who was trusted to care for Dax on a daily basis decided to harm him, leaving scratches and bruises on the back of his neck. This resulted in his moma and daddy having to take off work to press charges, take our sweet boy to the doctor to be checked, and have X-rays done. Neither have been able to take off work to process anything that happened and are all still waiting for her day in court! Laila also found out early June that they are expecting!! While this is happy news, they have been focused on ensuring Dax is ok.

They are both picking up side jobs to help try to catch up, but it's hard with a toddler and trying to be there for him. ♡ They would not ask for help themselves.

As a result of them having to take off work and the unexpected added medical expenses, they are trying hard to try to catch up financially. If you can help, any amount will be greatly appreciated. If you pray, please keep them in your prayers daily. Pray for them for strength in the upcoming months. Pray that the justice system does what it should.
