Veteran/Police Officer Needs Help

Matt Heiden is a Navy Veteran, a Police Officer, a husband and a father of four.  The last couple of years have been pretty tough for Matt and his family.  He has had to deal with brain surgery, the loss of his canine officer partner "Titto", and other medical issues.  I do not want to give to much personal information that Matt might not be comfortable with me giving, but I can say this man needs to know that there are people out there that care enough to help him in this time of need.

Matt has just been informed that he is being forced into retirement for the Police Force because of medical issues.  This couldn’t have come at a worse time for his family.  Matt is the main breadwinner for his family and this forced retirement will put amazing financial burden on his family while they figure how to compensate for this loss of income and benefits.

I am doing this for Matt because of this forced retirement he might have to miss a very important event for his oldest son Christian.  Christian is currently in boot camp with the U.S. Marine Corp and will be graduating on June 9th, 2017, and I am asking for your help so this "PROUD NAVY VETERAN" and his family can travel to see Christian graduate and serve his country.  At this time Matt and his family financially cannot afford to make the trip.

So let's show Matt that we appreciate the time he has served in the Navy and as a Police Officer because he did this selflessly to protect our country and his community.  Let's also let him know that when someone who has dedicated his life to care for and protect others - together we can make it happen to lift them up and give them some JOY when needed the most.

The goal is not that big. I believe if we pull together Matt and his family can have one great moment in a time that they need something good to happen for them. Every little donation will make a HUGE difference in this family's tough time. Thank you everyone so much!
