Get Matt to DFAC Natural Bodybuilding World Finals

Decades of dreaming, about to become a reality... hopefully!

As many of you know, for the last 27 years, my life has been dedicated to bodybuilding in one way or another.

My love for the sport grew as a teen, researching training programmes, supplements and following all the old school bodybuilders.

For the majority of my training life I've trained at Pasquill's Gym, in Chorley, and also been both an online and offline Coach through various stages of my life. My love for the sport has been a constant no matter what life has thrown my way.

As a Natural Bodybuilder, I first competed with the BNBF in 2009 and have competed a number of times. However, no season has been quite like this one.

This season I've competed in two non-tested shows where I have placed 3rd twice and 1st. I then went on to win the BNBF Northern Qualifier, which enabled me to compete at the  Birtish Finals.

I never expected to win the British Finals, but not only did I win my class at the Finals, I also came away as Masters Overall British Champion.

This gives me an invite to the DFAC World Finals on November 5th in the Grand Cayman Islands. The opportunity is once in a lifetime, a chance to represent the UK and something I never imagined would happen to me... a skinny lad from Chorley.

However, this does come at a huge cost and not one my partner and I expected or planned for.

It will cost about £3k to get me there. IF we manage to raise over this amount, I will be donating any additional costs to Derian House Children's Hospice in Chorley.

My partner Lauren will be aiming to come to support and guide me however she will be footing to cost of her part.

I'm not one to ask for help but after this being suggested by a few people due to my concerns of being unable to go due to funds, Lauren has helped set this up.

I know and appreciate that times are tough for everyone right not but if you can spare anything at all, even just £1, it will be so greatly appreciated.

Words won't do justice how much your support means but I can only hope that I do Chorley proud if I get out there!
