Matt Ashburn, a Lead Engineer working for a property management company through the UVA Foundation was in an auto accident in April, 2013. He suffered a spinal cord injury which left him unable to walk and wheelchair bound.  Matt has been taking classes to enable him to return to work while caring for his three children.  Daily activities are very challenging, and being in a wheel chair so long has made him suffer from pressure sores.  We are hoping to get a standing wheel chair for Matt to relieve the pressure sores, which can lead to dangerous infections.  This will enable Matt to have better mobility, increase his employment opportunities and give him the ability to interact with and better care for his family.  We greatly appreciate your consideration to help Matt.
