MATTAHUNT FAMILY EMERGENCY FUNDING

On Thursday, April 7, 2022, one of our beloved families of the Mattahunt Elementary School , the Malette Family , experienced a house fire in the Mattapan community. In this fire, all of the family's belongings were destroyed, leaving no memories for them to hold on to. The children and family have lost their home, necessary items, and those things dear to them.

This family includes two of Mattahunt Elementary Schools' kindergarten and third-grade students. The Mattahunt students and family are extensively involved in the school community. They are a part of the school's parent council,YMCA afterschool program , the Musiconnects after school program and girls lunch bunch . The students are eager to return to normalcy and live life as it once was.

We are grateful to have this family as part of our school community, and we want to be a support to them during this challenging time. We hope that through this GoFund Me account, we can raise enough funds and disperse it to the family ( Marie Malette- mom ) so we can support them during this hardship as they have an immediate need to obtain housing and rebuild those things which they have lost, such as clothing, shoes, furniture, and much more. Any amount contributed is greatly appreciated.
