Matt Sambito is Recuperating

Matt Sambito, bass player for Tony Soul Project, took a nasty fall 2 weeks ago. Matt broke ribs, punctured a lung and cracked his heel. After initially feeling just bumps & bruises the next couple of days Matt took a bad turn for the worse. He was moved to the ICU at Lahey Clinic in Critical Condition. His condition remained Critical for the next week. After a week Matt started to improve slightly. The feeding tube was removed and he was breathing on his own. His condition is now stable but Matt has a long way to go. He still cannot have visitors due to risk of infection. He was moved from Lahey to another North Shore facility recently and we are hoping for the best. We are trying to raise funds to cover a couple months rent and necessities. Matt does not have short term disability coverage. A donation in any amount will help. We will plan  a Worcester & North Shore benefits for Matt in the, hopefully, near future when Matt can get out and attend with us. Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers and good wishes. Believe they helped. This guy has always been there when called on to play at a benefit, sometimes for people he didn't even know. Love Matt
