This is by far one of the hardest things I've had to do.  At around 9AM on Friday June 8th 2018 my son, Matt, at the age of 24 lost his struggle with his bipolar depression.  In a split second he was gone. It would take many words to describe him for he was so many things.  I'll remember him as an innocent child who did his best.  He had a big heart and would help others.  He was loved by people who knew him. He is survived by three children, Xavier, 5,  Jayden, 4 and Hope  6 weeks old.  

Please help if you can  - anything will help and will be greatly appreciated . The money will be used to cover funeral and cemetery  expenses .  Any extra money will be used to set up college funds for the childern.

A BREIEF HISTORY: Matt was born with fetal alcohol syndrome, and later diagnosed with ADHD, Social anxiety, bipolar depression.  Matt started out with drug addicted parents who physically and emotionally abused him.  Mom abandoned him at age 8. From there the state and the foster care system took over with little change.  Matt went through 17 foster families with one family showing the care and affection he so deserved.  Matt found love and friendship from his Attorney, CASA worker and his teacher.  In my class Matt would come to refer to me as his dad. When he came to school one day with rope burns around his neck (age 12) I took up the position of Dad for him.  However the baggage of all his biological parents and foster issues combined with his bipolar depression was too much for him. He had always struggled with feeling of not belonging on this earth. I hope that between us, we gave him 13 years extra to his life which gave him the opportunity to have three beautiful children to carry on his legacy.
