Matt Myers is Coming Home

As you may know, Matt has been stuck in Laos for the past 4 years, 3 months; We've just been told by the Canadian Embassy in Laos that Matt will be coming home on September 20th (in just over a month). We're so happy to hear this news, and we're flying him home back to Canada as soon as possible!

We'd love to give Matt a warm welcome back to Canada and help him with his process. Thank you to everyone who has helped cover some of Matt's expenses while he's been away. 

Most recently, we purchased Matt's flight home, and we'd like to give him a some money to cover his arrival in Canada. We imagine that it will be difficult for him to return back to work right away. He'll need to cover some housing and grocery for some time before he's really back.

Ben Cadieux will be receiving funds on behalf of Matt and giving him the cash when he arrives; also, the funds will go toward paying for the flight that one of Matt's Mom's friends covered the costs on.   Ben is a very close friend of Matt and has been in touch with Matt throughout the years that Matt has been gone. Additionally, Ben visited Matt in Laos a year ago.
