Matt Monday Medical Expense

2nd update:  We finally got some good news which is no surgery. We are admitted overnight until they can get a longer term back/ neck brace fitted and make sure he can get up and walk etc. Hoping we don't have to stay longer than tomorrow. 9

Updates from Adria:   Matt has a fractured neck C7. was told so far will have to wear a brace for 4+ weeks. Also 2 back fractures T4 T5, one of them more severe and waiting on MRI to determine if we have to go to surgery for fusion or can get away with back brace and time to heal. Hoping so hard we can avoid surgery, definitely send him positive vibes for good news.

Matt Monday was injured in a go-kart accident this afternoon racing with the Yard Kart Nationals. He was airlifted to Methodist Hospital. He was alert but in a lot of pain. As they have no insurance requesting funds to help support him and Adria Johnson with medical expenses. Every dollar counts and all proceeds will go to Matt and Adria.
