I am heartbroken to report that Matt has passed away this evening but his suffering is over and for that I am relieved. Matt asked me to make sure that any donations go to the support of his daughter who he loved with all his heart.

As many of you know Matt McGeough has recently been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. This has caused his esophagus to nearly completely close. Matt has been unable to eat solid food for three months now. This has caused him to loose a significant amount of weight.

Matt recently checked himself into the hospital to address his weight loss and install a feeding tube. Since being admitted he has developed a lung infection due to aspiration. Once this is addressed and his weight is back up he will begin his cancer treatment.

Before his diagnosis Matt was working 2 and sometimes 3 jobs to make ends meet. As you know the light of Matt’s life has been his little girl Emma. Matt plans his life around Emma and providing for her.

I am asking for your generous donation to help Matt cover his out of pocket Medical expenses as well as his rental expenses, which is essential to his custody arrangement.
