For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Matt Lohmeyer. I am a certified personal coach at GOLFTEC in Fort Worth TX. I am originally from Naperville IL. I moved to Fort Worth about 6 years ago to start my teaching/coaching career. I did not intend to participate in this many tournaments when I first moved here, but wow, that has definitely changed. As I continued to grow in my playing, I continued to grow the level of my goals as well. I have achieved so many playing goals these last couple years including winning my first professional event and shooting a career low round of 61. My next one and my biggest one I have left unchecked is to play in a PGA Tour event and was very close last year. I truly believe it is more of a matter of when and not if.

In order to get to this goal, I need to continue playing as many tournaments and taking lessons for myself while continuing coaching my students here at GOLFTEC. The money that is raised with these donations will help cover tournament entry fees, travel costs, and training for myself.

My most recent highlights include:

Northern Texas PGA Player of the Year.

Northern Texas PGA low stroke average 2019.

Winner of NTPGA Professional Championship (67-71). Qualifies me for the PGA Professional Championship in Austin TX in April 2020.

Low PGA Professional in the Texas State Open (67-69-71-61) Tied 10th in the overall field.

2019 GOLFTEC Coach of the Year.
