We are heartbroken to share the passing of Matt Koots — a devoted husband to Emily and loving father to Vinny.

If you knew Matt, you knew his love for Emily & Numbers.

He was witty & kind and enjoyed spending time in the shed building the next greatest project for their house.

In 2023 - Matt's diagnosis came as a shock to everyone around him, with an uphill battle ahead of them and Emily due for their first child in the mix prayers and love has been paramount in this journey.

Unfortunately, in August 2025, Matt lost his courageous battle with brain cancer, surrounded by the love of his family.

We have created this page to honour his memory and to help support Emily as she navigates this unimaginable loss. Your kindness, prayers, and any contribution, no matter the amount, mean more than words can express.
