With heavy hearts and tear-filled eyes, we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, Matthew Knopp, who tragically suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday, March 24.

Matt was the epitome of a loving husband to Emily and a devoted father to Taylor and Liam. The family was eagerly awaiting the birth of their newest member, baby Lydia, due to arrive in April. Matt’s unexpected departure has left our hearts shattered, life for us all will be forever changed.

As we navigate through this profound loss, we find ourselves leaning on each other for support, trying to piece together a new life, a new reality.

We would be forever grateful for help at this time, for the many unexpected expenses now facing her family and for Emily to prepare to care for Liam and baby Lydia during her maternity leave and beyond.
