This GoFundMe was created in memory of Matt Kimber , who passed away at the age of 44 following a sudden and devastating mental health crisis, to support his son Buzz's future education and other needs.

Matt, Matty K, Mr. Kimber, Daddy, MJK...whatever name you called Matt, you probably experienced his love for life, fantastic energy, British humour, love for English and Arsenal football, passion for helping young people learn and thrive, and his seemingly constant generosity, joy, and optimism.

Matt cared deeply about many people, including his wife and child (Kate and Buzz), parents (Jennifer and Richard), brothers (Chris and Jon, and Jon's wife and kids), extended family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, and students.

He loved to play sports as much as he loved to relax and sunbathe on the beach. He was unbeatable at Scrabble. His laughter was unforgettable. He loved British television, Diet Coke, wearing bright colours, a pint of beer, playing trumps, and getting a great deal. If you knew him, then he loved talking and spending time with you.
