For Matt & Kate

Kate and Matt are considering taking an extended trip and leaning fully into one another as they process their grief. This is a space where you can contribute toward their journey if you'd like.

They lost their precious baby boy, Henry Allen Erbe, before he got a chance in this life. He died due to a constriction in the cord right at his tummy which cut off his blood supply. Kate was 5 days past her due date and 2 days before her scheduled induction when she felt Henry stop moving, and she immediately went to the hospital. The doctor confirmed that there is absolutely nothing they could or should have done differently.

Henry was born at 11:36 on June 24, 2023 weighing 7 lb 7 oz, and by all accounts, he was beautiful and perfect in every way.

We grieve alongside them, and we will forever hold Sweet Henry in our hearts.
