MATT HAMMOND NEEDS A NEW HIP

My name is Augie Pabst.

I'm establishing this GoFundMe campaign to help a friend and part-time employee of Pabst Racing. Matt Hammond has spent his life as a dedicated mechanic for Sports Car, IndyCar and various open-wheel racing teams. Matt started at Pabst Racing with our Road to Indy USF2000 team in 2018, and he's still with us. Over the past few years, Matt's hip started to fail, causing him to limp. Now, Matt is unable to hide the pain any longer. The pain Matt endures with his hip motivated him over the past year to source and acquire a health insurance policy to assist him with replacement surgery.

Matt's insurance policy will cover a large portion of the total surgery cost, but there is still a hefty deductible. Matt's been saving up for this life-changing procedure, but he's far from where he needs to be. His surgeon (Dr. Brad Prather) from Hendricks Orthopedics in Danville, Indiana, is ready to perform the surgery in early July 2022. The expenses have already begun with the initial consultations and pre-op visits, so Matt is committed.

I asked Matt's permission to start this campaign. Although very reluctant, he ultimately agreed. Would you consider joining me in helping Matt cover his deductible and related expenses?
