Matt passed away April 29th at the age of 45, he leaves behind his only daughter who unfortunately now has lost both of her parents in the past 6 months. She is being cared for by her grandmother. She is 13 years old and does not deserve any of this. Despite so much turmoil in her life she remains a wonderful positive young girl. She is succeeding in school and has many friends & family who love her.
Matt loved his daughter more than anyone on Earth, despite his struggles with his mental health and addiction issues, we will always remember his very funny quick wit and larger than life personality. Matt would have an entire room listening to his hilarious stories and love for video games. Frankly, I have never seen a better video game player in all of my years than Matt.
In lieu of sending flowers, we are asking for donations to help out raising Matt's daughter. Her grandparents are retired and live on a fixed income, Matt would help out as much as he could and it helped tremendously. Obviously, that is gone now. We have recently learned Matt's daughter does not qualify for social security deceased parent benefit. The benefit would have helped a lot towards buying clothes and other needs teens require.
100% of the funds will go to directly towards helping raise Matt's daughter. She will be the sole beneficiary to this account. We appreciate all your help and support during this hard time. We are grateful for everyone who has reached out and for all your love and support.
