Hi, My name is Carrie Faircloth I am Matthew Griffin's aunt. 21-year-old Matt suffered a brain aneurysm and severe stroke resulting in paralysis of the right side of his body, Saturday, March 5th, 2022. After 5 days in ICU at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, he was transferred to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia for brain injury and stroke rehabilitation. Possibly up to 12 weeks or longer. During this time his mom Cindy Parrish and his dad Chuck Griffin along with his bonus dad Joe Parrish and bonus mom Sherri Griffin will be traveling to Atlanta taking shifts of being with and caring for him. Matt does have medical insurance but as we all know it does not cover everything, I am helping to raise funds for him to cover the extra expenses incurred by his family while traveling back and forth during these long weeks. Our entire family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers and would be extremely grateful for any assistance to help Matthew during this traumatic time.
