Many of you know the immense pain my dad has been dealing with since the beginning of 2021. If anyone has experienced neuropathy pain maybe you can relate. My dad describes the pain as a “burning hot sensation” on his skin and “pulsing stabbing pain” throughout his back, right side of his chest, armpit, and torso area. The diagnosis can not be pin pointed but we have a few factors in mind, his diabetes, shingles and compressed discs in his neck and back shown in an x-ray, my dad has been living uncomfortably and in extreme excruciating pain since January and the last couple weeks especially, he has seen his regular physician twice, diabetic specialist, neuropathy specialist and a trip to the ER. All of these doctors masked the pain with pain killers and unatural solutions, After visiting central iowa neuropathy in ankeny on tuesday we are on the right path to a natural healing. Electric shock therapy (a machine he would have here at home), physical therapy once a week for 3 months and chiropractic medicine. Unfortunately being a small business owner my dad has only worked about 8 days since the beginning of this year bringing in little income, and insurance will not cover the equipment and therapy my dad would need to be able to possibly reverse the nerve pain he is experiencing. My dad has tried to live his life regularly doing the things he loves, but blocking the pain is inevitable, taking a turn for the worst the last couple weeks it hurts as his daughter to see him walk with a hunch, pace back and forth and holding his breath trying to push through the pain, some days are bearable and other days are horrid, i have been unable to embrace my dad for months and i’m ready to give him a bear hug again someday soon. We are asking for just a portion of equipment and therapy cost to get him back to living a pain free life.
We are putting all of our trust in God, that he will heal and provide for my dad, if you do not want to donate please continue to lift my parents up in prayer as my dad suffers in pain and for my mom as she is his rock and caretaker❤️
