Matt passed away this November and I'm setting up a gofundme to help cover burial costs. He was 29 years old and we'd been together for 8 years after meeting in college. He spent his last years supporting local progressive grassroots candidates and advocating for local tenants' rights. He worked in video game development and my favorite memories with him include taking our dog Chester out on a long evening walk while bouncing game ideas off of each other. The picture on here is from Chester's birthday trip to the park this year. Matt was the most sincere person I've ever known and he tried really hard to make his life have a meaningful, positive impact on others.
