Matt Driscoll

On February 13th, Matt suffered two massive strokes that caused extensive trauma to his brain and body. Currently, he is paralyzed on his right side and the language center of his brain is damaged. The doctors say it’s unlikely that he will regain much movement on the damaged side nor regain a full ability to understand or communicate. However, he has already begun to respond to some verbal commands and can open his eyes and we feel he recognizes us — he’s squeezing our hands tightly with his left hand. We are holding out all hope but are faced with what is likely a devastating prognosis.

Matt is an incredibly strong, twinkle-eyed trickster with a brilliant capacity for love. Please send that love and your prayers back towards him. This road will be a long one. Much is still unknown. If anyone is resilient enough to pull through this, it’s him.
