On Monday, September 8, 2025, Matt Connell lost his life, at the age of only 51. The family faces the great tragedy of this unexpected loss with incredibly heavy hearts and irreparable grief.

Losing a dad so unexpectedly is something unimaginable, and something that will never be healed. This family will never be the same without him, and neither will anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was so incredibly kind and caring, goofy and fun, and loving and hard working. He worked so hard every day of his life to support his family that he loved so much.

His passing leaves behind the family that he worked so very hard to support. He leaves behind an amazing daughter, Maddy, age 12, along with the mother of his children, who has now lost the love of her life. Maddy has lost a father who was not only a dad, but also an amazing friend. They grieve for the loss of someone they shared so many amazing fun memories with.

With such an unexpected death, the family is left in an even worse situation. Maddy has dreams of college and beyond.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go first to covering funeral expenses, and then anything left over will go to supporting his daughter, Maddy, through this tragic time and through college.
