Friends, it is with great sadness that we have developed this GoFundMe and are sharing this news. . . .
On Halloween morning 2017, Matt unexpectedly passed away in his home due to an undiagnosed heart condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. He was a devoted husband and father to his wife, Karen, and three beautiful daughters, Rose (7), Grace (5) and Annie (3). He was active in his community and regularly volunteered at his children’s elementary school. Matt was always willing to lend a helping hand and never ceased to entertain. He was a friend to all who knew him and his passing is no doubt felt throughout the community. He has touched many lives and those that know him will remember him for his friendly personality, never at a lack for words, always able to strike a conversation. #thatsmatt
This GoFundMe campaign is being established to support Matt’s family that he leaves behind in these financially uncertain times. The funds accumulated through this platform will be used to assist in paying for funeral services, bills, and to provide long-term stability for Matt and Karen's three daughters, such as college funding assistance. Donated funds are directly accessible by Matt's wife, Karen.
