Dear Friends and Family,

With heavy hearts, we, the Bolinski Family, share the news of Matt Bolinski’s passing on March 25th, 2024. Matt tragically fell off a cliff on a hiking trail on Vancouver Island. It brings us solace to know that his final moments were amidst the natural beauty he cherished so deeply.

We are still coming to terms with this loss and piecing together the events leading to it, but it has been officially ruled an accident.

Our family on the West Coast is navigating these turbulent waters together. The grief weighs heavy, and we find strength in each other’s embrace. We are committed to being each other’s support, ensuring none of us succumbs to the depths of despair. Though the journey ahead may be long and arduous, we know Matt would want us to find our way to calmer shores.

To those who knew him, Matt was a beacon of love with a heart as vast as the ocean. He adored his family, his friends, and his faithful companion, Karma, who now awaits his return. His absence leaves a void that words cannot fill, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

In honor of Matt’s legacy of love, we invite all who were touched by his kindness to join us in commemorating his life. We have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to honor Matt’s spirit and help cover the expenses for his funeral and celebration of life. Details regarding these events are still in the early stages of planning but will be shared in due course.

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support shown to Matt throughout his life, and we thank you for any contributions you may offer. Our greatest comfort lies in honoring what Matt held dear – the bonds of family and the power of love.
