With the first anniversary of Matt’s passing upon us (July 18th), Tim and I have been thinking about how to best memorialize him.

 

The City of Longmont offers memorial benches. Tim and I will be purchasing a bench within a short walk of Mom and Dad’s house along Left Hand Creek.

Whereas Tim and I are in a comfortable position to fund this fully, we want to open the opportunity for others to join. Please do not feel obligated to donate; this is simply an opportunity to contribute should you feel inclined.

 

Regardless of your donation decision, please walk Left Hand Creek as often as possible, take a seat on Matt’s bench, and reminisce about your positive memories of Matt and his impact on your life.

 

The cost of the bench is $788.61. We are still awaiting word for the memorial plaque and installation cost as the company the City has worked with is undergoing change. We anticipate the cost of the plaque and installation to be like that of the bench.
