Matt & Arielle STRUCK by total loss.

On Friday afternoon, June 16th mother nature’s fury struck the roof of an Allen Township apartment building with lightning, displacing many people.

My nephew, Matt Gillingham and Arielle Marcum lost everything when their second floor apartment, caught fire and the roof collapsed making a total loss for them. Luckily they were not at home at the time when this happened. One cat was able to make it out and spent the night in an oxygen tank at a veterinary hospital. Their other cat (orange long hair) Char is still missing and the guinea pig did not make it out.

Matt is currently finishing his doctor of physical therapy program and Arielle is a recent college graduate with a new job currently taking summer courses through Purdue University to earn her Masters Degree in Public Relations. They are both in their early 20s just starting out and now have to rebuild.

Please find it in your hearts to help these two young people get back on their feet because of this devastating fire.
