Matt and Ximena Tuverson Family
Donation protected
My brother, Matt and his wife Ximena and their 2 boys, Parker (3) and Merrick (2) lost their home off Kanan Dume Rd in Malibu, to the Woolsey Fire. They evacuated in the middle of the night Thursday, Nov. 8th, as a precaution. Not hearing much about the scale of the fire, they grabbed the bare essentials and headed out the door thinking they would be back by the next day or two. Within a few hours, Malibu was under mandatory evacuation and the fire had grown to 35,000 acres burned. By Saturday afternoon, Matt and Ximena heard word that their home burned down to the ground. My brother and his boys had even left the house without any shoes! By the grace of family and friends, they have recieved donations of clothes for themselves and their boys, but will need more to rebuild a home for their family. Insurance will take months before they see a dime to cover clean up and rebuilding, let alone help pay for new living expenses. Immediately, they need help funding a down payment for a rental house/apartment and to cover costs for furniture, appliances, kitchenware, etc. Please consider donating to their cause! They want nothing more than to find a stable home for their boys for the next couple of years until they can rebuild their old home. Anything helps.
Thank you and God Bless you and your loved ones.
