Matt and Lindy Bowles Rebuilding
Donation protected
Matt and Lindy Bowles had big hopes and dreams when they purchased their new home on Monday, September 17th. They are a sweet family of 6 with 4 kiddos under 6 years old. They dreamed of being able to have room to host the youth group Matt leads in their new living room and blessing people with their home. They proudly showed off pictures on Thursday night at the football game of the home that was going to be a great space for their sweet young family.
Only 24 hours later, they had no idea what was coming. The rain started Friday, September 21st, in the evening and came in quick and fierce. It rained all night and into the early morning hours. Saturday morning Matt got a call that there had been some flooding near their new home and he might want to go check it out. He threw a shovel in the truck thinking he might need to dig to divert some water. When He pulled up to the home, he had just purchased, he was unprepared for the scene. Water flooded out the door when he opened it.
The entire downstairs was flooded with water up to countertop height.
2000 sq feet of their just purchased home is a COMPLETE LOSS. They did not have any flood insurance. Therefore, ALL repair work will have to be out of pocket. Some of those costs include: electrical, hvac, sheet rock, kitchen, all new flooring, ect.
It is a devastating situation. We have insisted on doing something for this family because they’re quick to help others, but may not want to ask for help themselves. We are thankful any and all donations $1, $5, $100 or $1000. Together we can do this! Please help any way possible to bless them as they navigate this loss.
Thank you friends! Please share so that all that know and love this family have an opportunity to bless them!
