Matt and Nichole Hoffmann and their five month old baby boy were displaced from their home in Valley, Nebraska on Friday, March 15 due historic area flooding. The flood waters rose so quickly that the family left their home with nothing more than the clothes on their back. The Hoffmann family is currently staying with friends; however, they do not know when they will be able to return to their home or if it will be inhabitable. Matt's co-workers at Scooter's Coffee are coming together to help alleviate the unexpected financial burden as the Hoffmanns move forward.
