It is with a heavy heart that my family have to announce our beloved Berla Alexandria Creary-Lopez also known as Aunt Hazel has earned her wings on Monday, April 26th 2021. Our family is devastated as she was our piece of heaven on earth and a matriarch within our foundation. Our dear Aunt Hazel found joy in extending her hand to bless anyone within her reach. She opened her heart, home and arms to a world of imperfection and made it seem perfect. PURE. She loved to sing, dance, cook and draw. No instrument was a match for her artistic intellect and creative understand. This is truly a hard time a hard time for us. We do not take for granted how blessed we are that God chose her for us. We are so blessed. 

Aunt Hazel was 92 years old and have been fighting many illnesses for some time. She continued to love and laugh and fight sometimes shocking us all. Still Dancing! Still Singing! We are so grateful for our memories. Ultimately her cause of death was Congestive Heart Failure.

Here we are preparing to say our final good-byes. Unfortunately, she did not make any arrangements for her home going service and did not have any life insurance. We are reaching out to our family, friends and those who loved/cared for Aunt Hazel to help us give her the beautiful funeral service she deserves. We had no idea that the cost would be so high. 

We understand that times are hard due to the pandemic but anything you can donate to help is greatly appreciated.
