En Memoria de Matilde Pichardo Vicioso

Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada abuela, Matilde Pichardo Vicioso, quien nos dejó ayer a la edad de 73 años, tras una valiente batalla de más de 10 años contra la policondritis recidivante.

Matilde fue una madre, abuela y bisabuela devota—la roca y luz guía de nuestra familia. Pasó el último mes de su vida en el hospital, luchando valientemente contra el dolor con la misma fuerza y amor con los que nos sostuvo cada día de su vida.

Su último deseo fue regresar a su tierra natal, la República Dominicana, para descansar junto al resto de su familia. Estamos pidiendo su apoyo para poder cumplir con su deseo y cubrir los gastos médicos, los arreglos funerarios y su traslado de regreso a casa.

Cualquier contribución, grande o pequeña, nos ayudará a sobrellevar este momento tan difícil. Por favor, mantengan a nuestra familia en sus oraciones.

In Loving Memory of Matilde Pichardo Vicioso

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother, Matilde Pichardo Vicioso, who left us yesterday at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with relapsing polychondritis for over 10 years.

Matilde was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother—our family’s rock and guiding light. She spent the last month of her life in the hospital, fighting bravely through pain with the same strength and love she gave us every day of her life.

Her final wish was to return to her birthplace, the Dominican Republic, to be laid to rest with the rest of her family. We are asking for your support to help honor her wish and cover the costs of medical expenses, funeral arrangements, and her transportation back home.
