Hi my name is Naomi and I am the very proud Mum of my Daughter Matilda.

Matilda is a determined and passionate runner who has put in all the hard work to achieve all her sporting goals, primarily a middle distance runner Matilda’s love for XC was driven from grief and trauma after she discovered that long runs in varying terrain soothed her and provide a sense of happiness and freedom!

Matilda has achieved State and National level performances in the X-Country, due to this she has been invited to attend an International XC Tour of the USA in September 2026 (visiting Nevada / Arizona / California) competing in 4 XC Races and experiencing the US coaching systems as well as trips to landmarks; this surprise has bought my tough little cookie to tears with excitement it is an experience of a life time that we cannot turn down.

The unfortunate reality is I am a single working Mother and carer for my disabled Brother that works week to week to make ends meet I simply do not have the $9500 avail to pay upfront to accept the offer, it comes with deep embarrassment that it may be the case that Matilda could miss out on her dream because of my financial situation; in rectifying this i will continue to pick up overtime / additional shifts at work but will need that little bit of extra support to get her over the line.

Any support would be greatly appreciated and would make a little girls dream that she works tirelessly on come true !
