Matilda & Oscar Fund
Donation protected
This past year has brought Matilda Ambré and her partner Oscar Sundh many joyful moments but also some incredible hardships. Amidst celebrating the birth of their son Nikolai and navigating life as new parents, Oscar experienced a head injury that has left him struggling with concussion symptoms since November. This injury has been devastating to the couple as Oscar has been forced to step away from the sport he loves and work his way back to normalcy.
This spring the couple endured more devastating news as Matilda was diagnosed with an aggressive form of ovarian cancer. Her doctors remain very optimistic about her recovery but she still has a long journey ahead of her through chemotherapy.
Situations like this make us wonder why hard things happen to the kindest, most undeserving people. But we know without a doubt that Matilda and Oscar are resilient and will get through this tough time stronger than ever both for themselves and for their son. Matilda and Oscar are a blessing in the lives of all who know them and we hope as a hockey community that we can lift them up in any way that we can. We are asking for donations, no matter how big or small to support this wonderful family.
Thank you very much for your support!
