Dear friends,
I am excited to share some things that have been going on in my life recently. I am a junior at High Tech High North County in San Marcos, CA. I have been doing well at school, and was even elected ASB vice president at the beginning of the year. I am currently playing basketball for my school and for another league. This has been a lot of fun. I am also part of my youth group at North Coast Church in Vista, California. I am very blessed to be a part of such a great ministry. I am thankful for all the things God has been doing in my life and for the people who have played a role in helping me grow this past year.
I have been given the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Ecuador with my youth group. We are going to Quito from March 23-30 to work with Youth World, a short-term missions organization that specializes in exposing youth, adults, and families to missions, ministry, and the world. We are a team of 32 11th and 12th graders going to reach the children of Ecuador. I am excited for this chance to do God’s work, bless others, while building my personal relationship with God.
I would love it if you would please pray for this mission trip. Pray for God to work through the 32 of us. Pray that we are prepared for whatever comes our way, and that we are open to learning from the community. Pray for the families in Ecuador, that they are receptive to learning about God and that when we go, we can exemplify what it is like to walk with God. Pray especially for the children to connect the love we show them to the love Jesus has for them.
Please also consider supporting me financially. I need to raise $1750 by March 1st. I recommend a gift of $50, $100 or $150, but of course, any amount is more than welcome.
