Mathilda Gonzales Funeral Expenses

On Sunday afternoon, my family was heartbroken by the sudden death of our beloved Mathilda who was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandma, and aunt. On Saturday morning Mathilda tested positive for COVID. Her symptoms seemed mild and she only complained of tiredness. On Sunday morning she ate breakfast and then told her daughter she was going to take a nap. Unfortunately, she did not wake from her nap. Mathilda was the glue to our family. Mathilda or Tita like we called her was our go to tia, the one that made you feel extremely special even when she was going through the toughest time in her life. The one who made baskets for all her nieces and nephews because it was just the thing she like to do for the holidays. There will be no one else like my Tita and the pain of not having her with us is unexplainable. Tita fought through some hard medical conditions but she was a warrior through it all. This death took us all by surprise and even though we weren't ready to say goodbye we know that she left in a peaceful way. We weren't expecting any of this therefore we were not prepared for the expenses of the funeral.
