On Thursday September 12, Mat had an extremely bad motorcycle accident. I'm trying not to divulge more information than the family cares to share at this point in time, while at the same time trying to express the severity of the situation.
Money is the last thing this family should be thinking about while trying to deal with this situation, and bills and rent unfortunately don’t take care of themselves, so we are trying to raise money to alleviate some of the financial burden they are facing so that they can focus on what's important, Mat. The money will also be used to cover travel costs, accommodations, and food for the parents who live out of town, and taking necessary steps to ensure that Mat’s 10-year-old son, is provided for and can remain with his father.
There are many challenges facing them in the future, and many adjustments that will need to be made for everyday life.
