Mathias’ Cancer Fund

This is never a journey you think you will have to face especially as a young adult! It’s that word no one ever likes to hear but you have to muster the courage to fight!

Mathias has been diagnosed with stage 4 Liposarcoma and this has all happened so quickly. He has been suffering for a few months with pain and a growing tumor on his hip. The ever growing small soccer ball sized tumor will have to be removed and the cancer has spread to his right femur, hip and back bones.

He is currently undergoing an aggressive chemo treatment which will last for about 5 months before he will be re-evaluated to begin the tumor removal process.

Unfortunately, the damage this will cause and the cancer being in crucial bones that allow for walking he will most likely be disabled. But this won’t get him down nor will it stop him from a productive life!!

As any major ailment, comes a financial medical burden, and we wanted to make sure and have an opportunity for support for those who want to give towards this unforeseen challenge. All of the proceeds will go towards his medical expenses.

There are two upcoming opportunities to attend benefits in honor of Mathias’ cancer journey. One on August 28th and the other on October 16th. Watch for details soon on social media.

We know God has a plan and will be there every step of the way. We have faith that he will overcome, and ask you all to keep him in your prayers. If anything, rally around him with encouragement, love, hope, faith and lots of prayers.
