Mathew's Cancer Fighting Fund

Mathew was diagnosed with cancer on November 23, 2016. The day before Thanksgiving. It took us back to last year when on Thanksgiving Day he was involved in a head on collision while working and some how did not get a scratch on him. We had so much to be thankful for as the car that hit him was going about 70 miles an hour and he could have been severely injured. He was so worried about ruining our Thanksgiving again this year! Little did he know that last year just made us, as parents, appreciate everyday we have with him even more.  Now with this diagnosis we just want him to fight the greatest fight he's ever encountered. 
Mathew just became a detention officer with the county of El Paso 5 months ago. He has always dreamed of following in his father's and brother's footsteps and was well on his way to recognizing his dream. Now because of the short time he's been employed, he has no sick leave or vacation time left to cover him during the approximately 9 weeks of chemo. He needs assistance with medical expenses and day to day living expenses while he is out of work.
