Hello. My name is Tami Collins and I'm raising funds for my son, Mathew Drown. He had a seizure on Oct. 5th. 911 was called, and he was transported by ambulance to Bay Park Hospital. While there, he had several tests done, including a CT scan. That test showed he had a tumor pushing against his brain. He got transported to Promedica Toledo Hospital. While there, he was put on steroids and an anti-seizure medication. He will be having brain surgery on Oct. 13th. With the ambulance rides, all the testing, the long hospital stays, and of course, the surgery, it will definitely be a financial burden on the whole family. Mathew has a girlfriend and 3 amazing children. This will hopefully be a start to it not being such a burden in the long run. Mathew has always been a strong, independent person since he was little. Always busy with sporting events and family gatherings of any sort. He thinks of his family more than he thinks of himself. Mathew works at Standard Wellness in Gibsonburg. He loves his job and the people he works with. In all honesty, he deserves so much more. I hope his recovery won't be a long one after his surgery, but if it is, I hope this helps in a lot of ways.
