Hi. Our names are Deanna and Todd. Our postdoc Mathew Singh and his family lost everything in the massive flooding in St. Louis on Tuesday. Their street is the one being shown in many of the news clips about the flood. Their cars and their house flooded, their son almost died as his bedroom flooded in the basement, and their pets died in the flood. The insurance company is not clear on whether they will cover the house, and it is not yet clear whether a disaster will be declared that would allow FEMA money. Please help us raise funds to allow them to buy new cars and rent a place close to their children's schools while they figure out if their house can be salvaged.
