Mathew Alejandro Alcivar Chica

Matthew is 12 years old, he enjoys playing the saxophone. In his free time he helps his grandfather fish. He’s in 7th grade and his dream is to become a civil engineer. He loves the beach, is a very good student and he belongs to the Canton Sucre municipal band. Unfortunately, Matthew has a cornea disorder, a condition known as keratoconus. This condition is a progressive thinning of the cornea. Matthew has advanced keratoconus in his left eye and the disorder has affected his right eye as well. He needs a corneal transplant; without it, he faces total vision loss while yet a youth, and his brilliant future will be truncated. We are very grateful for your donation that will enable Matthew to realize this vision saving surgery and allow him to look forward to achieving his dreams. Mathew tiene 12 años, le gusta tocar el saxofón, en sus tiempos libres le ayuda a su abuelito a pescar, está en 8vo, básico superior, su sueño es ser ingeniero civil, le gusta ir a la playa, es un buen estudiante pertenece a la banda musical del municipio del cantón Sucre. Desafortunadamente Mathew tiene una mal formacion en la cornea.
